Marie de France's "Lanval"

Lanval reminds me so much of Andy Dwyer from Parks and Recreation. This is because Lanval appears to be a lazy wanna-be knight. He still wins the heart of his lover even though he seems like a really bad hero/knight. Andy Dwyer is known as "kind of a lazy rock-star wannabe" He is lazy and dumb but still manages to win the heart of a girl and the hearts of all the viewers.
